On November 6, 7 and 8, Black Smoke Rotterdam will be taken over by Highland Park.

For three nights only, we’ll be serving a special Highland Park infused menu where fire, smoke and whisky come together. Four courses from our fiery kitchen, paired with four cocktails made with Highland Park.

This is not your standard food pairing where you politely nod at the table and pretend to taste “notes of oak”. Expect bold flavours, smoke, fire, whisky and dishes specifically built around Highland Park.

NOVEMBER 7 – THE FULL DINNER EXPERIENCE

On Saturday, November 7, we’re taking things a little further.

That evening, Jord Althuizen and Yoel Van Eer, Brand Ambassador for Highland Park, will be there to guide you through the menu and the whisky.

Jord will take you through the dishes, the cooking techniques and the thinking behind the pairings. Yoel will dive deeper into the whisky itself: the flavours, the story behind Highland Park, the different expressions and why each drink works with the dish in front of you.

So this is not just four courses and four cocktails. It’s a full evening of food, whisky, stories and plenty of fire.

On Friday, November 6, you’ll start at Smokey Goodness in Delft with the Highland Park Infused BBQ Workshop. You’ll get behind the fire yourself, cook several dishes and discover how whisky and barbecue can work together.

One day later, you can put the BBQ tools down and take a seat at Black Smoke Rotterdam for the special Highland Park dinner experience.
